Research on the mechanisms of thermoregulatory and cardiovascular
system under heat stressed condition. Based on a concept that health
maintenance requires not only physical fitness (endurance and muscle
strength) for physical activities, but also the protective strength
of the body to maintain the internal homeostatic responses to various
types of stress, he focuses on the following topics: (1) the neural
control of skin blood flow and sweating, (2) the mechanisms of orthostatic
intolerance during heat stress, and (3) sympathetic nerve activity
under heat stress conditions and its effects on the release of neurotransmitters
and the receptors of effectors. |
