Desired Student Profile

Our department develops students who have strong interest in real life issues related to human and living environment, those who are motivated and capable of engaging in problem-solving from a standpoint of human centered engineering, and those who have high aspirations to contribute by proposing and returning the outcomes of research to society. Based on this idea, Master's Program seeks for women who graduated from a four-year university majoring in science and engineering, human environment, or other fields, women who completed advanced bachelor degree from National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation, and women in workforce with a bachelor degree. Doctoral Program seeks for women who have completed the Cooperative major or Master's Program in other graduate schools in related field and women in workforce with a Master's degree (or the same or higher academic capability). Doctoral Program especially welcomes women in the workforce. A prolonged learning framework considering women's life events will be established.
